Scanners, Valves and Probes

Optoelectronic and magnetic incremental and absolute encoders are designed to measure mutual positions, lengths, rotation angles and number of rotations. They are used principally in the field of industrial automation.

LARM a.s. works in the development, production, sale and servicing of optoelectronic and magnetic incremental and absolute scanners of the IRC/MIRC, ARC/MARC and MSL types for measuring mutual positions, lengths, rotation angles and number of rotations. They are used principally in the field of industrial automation.

They convert rotational or linear movements into electrical impulses using photoelectric raster scanning of two glass elements (a rotor and stator) or using the Hall effect. The encoders are designed to mediate electronic information on the mutual positions of two mechanical units or on rotational movements. The use of optoelectronic or magnetic scanners is combined with NC numerical indications, CNC control systems or frequency converters for controlling electric actuators or automation technology. An example of typical use is the measuring of paths, rotation angles and number of rotations on CNC machines, induction motors, industrial robots and textile, printing and wood processing machines, or in industrial automation. The company is able to offer various non-standard designs or development of new optoelectronic or magnetic encoders directly according to the customer's specifications.

Quality Management System

LARM's quality management system has been certified in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 since the year 2000. The certificate was awarded by TÜV SÜD, which also performs certification audits.
